Weather Underground Forecast for Sunday, September 07, 2008.

A weakening low pressure system located over the British Isles will continue to produce clouds and rain for that region, as well as for the coast of mainland Western Europe. The system will push off to the northeast towards Scandinavia towards the end of the day on Sunday, bringing more rainfall to a region which will also experience light rain for most of the day. A front associated with the low pressure system will extend from far southern Finland, through Poland and Germany, and down to northern Italy on Sunday. The line of precipitation associated with the front will move eastward through that region and into Central and Eastern Europe towards the end of the day on Sunday. Most of the rainfall is expected to be light, although there could be areas of localized moderate to heavy rain as well.

A new low pressure system will approach the United Kingdom from the West on Sunday. Even though it is unlikely to actually reach the Isles until Monday, the region could still see some clouds from that system move in late on Sunday. High pressure will keep the eastern Mediterranean countries mostly clear until the front moves in and brings precipitation to the eastern Mediterranean near Croatia and Hungary later in the day on Sunday. Most of western Russia, as well as Ukraine, should see mostly clear skies for the entire day.

Most of Western Europe and the parts of Central Europe where the front has passed should see fairly cool temperatures on Sunday due to the colder air moving in behind the front. Any countries still ahead of the front should expect to see warm temperatures on Sunday.
