Widespread showers with a few isolated thunderstorms continue to develop and move eastward at 20 to 30 mph...mostly over southwest Alabama and the western Florida Panhandle. Brief periods of very heavy rain...wind gusts to around 30 mph and occasional cloud to ground lightning strikes will be the main threat with some of the heavier showers or thunderstorms. Most of the heavier precipitation will be east of the I-65 corridor including the western Florida Panhandle through 3 PM.
